御廻状写を以相触候趣相障義無之候哉万一取退無尽講之類ニ而ハ御法度
之儀ニ候間右ニ似寄候義増長不致候様可被申付候
但右頭取之儀ハ別而重キ御咎被仰付御法ニ候心得違無之様可被申渡候

〇当冬積雪ニ而山中并山添之村人共猪鹿狩取候旨百姓共致出精本

深疵致難儀命数危キ者も有之旨御不便之御沙汰ニ候間各被遂吟味
右深疵ニ而甚難儀致し候者書付可被指出候

○御年男へ下賜される件について、御年限中は長上下を取りやめ、熨斗目と半上下を代わる代わる下賜しておくこと
ただし右の趣旨を山口作右衛門へも心得のため申し渡すこと

○近頃在町において紛らわしい頼母子講を企てている様子が聞こえてきます。明和四年亥年の大目付中の御廻状の写しをもって触れ回った趣旨に支障はないでしょうか。万一取り退きのある無尽講の類であれば御法度の件ですので、右に似寄った義が増長しないよう申し付けるべきです。
ただし右の頭取の件については、特に重い御咎めを仰せ付けられる御法ですので、心得違いのないよう申し渡すべきです。

○当冬の積雪で山中並びに山添いの村人たちが猪鹿狩りを行っている旨、百姓たちが精を出して本業の害を除き、諸作物を大切に育てることは最も寄り場事（重要なこと）です。ところが狩場において猪に襲われ、深手を負って難儀し、命数危うい者もいるとのことで、御不憫な御沙汰です。各々吟味を遂げ、右の深手で甚だ難儀している者について書付を提出すべきです。

○Recently, we have heard that suspicious tanomoshi-ko (rotating credit associations) are being organized in the outlying towns. Is there any conflict with the matter circulated through copies of the circular from the Great Inspectors in the 4th year of Meiwa, Year of the Boar? If by any chance these are withdrawal-type mujin-ko (unlimited mutual financing associations), they would be prohibited matters, so arrangements should be made to prevent similar practices from increasing.
However, regarding the leaders of such associations, particularly severe punishments are prescribed by law, so this should be communicated to prevent any misunderstanding.

○This winter, due to heavy snowfall, mountain villagers and those in mountain-adjacent villages are hunting wild boar and deer. The farmers are working diligently to eliminate harm to their main occupation and carefully tend to their various crops, which is most commendable. However, at hunting grounds, some have been attacked by wild boar, suffering deep wounds and facing life-threatening situations, which is a matter of great pity according to His Lordship's remarks. Each official should conduct investigations and submit written reports about those who are suffering greatly from such deep wounds.
