〇別紙之通被仰出候間早速書付可被指出候去御入用無之候ハヽ其段是又可被申達候

〇先達而申渡候通去夏諸役方御直ニ被仰渡も有之候へハ別而面々致出精御
倹約筋取扱可申事ニ候右ニ付而ハ去年御入用役々ニおゐて去ル午年御入
用与見競増減書付可指出候猶又被仰出候ハ以来共ニ御在国中ハ其前之
御在国年与引競御留守年ハ其前之御留守年与引競年々増減書
付役々より差出候様是又被仰出候

〇先達而従公儀御預所へ被仰出も有之其趣を以御領分へも被相触候様申渡候凶年
之節在方之貯之儀各承知之通ニ候猶又被仰出候ハ常々凶年之儀を心得居不申
ニ而ハ若凶作有之節在方食事ニ支難儀候事ニ候尤御手及たけハ御救も可被下候へ共
在方ニ而も常々心掛何そ凶作之節之助ニ相成候貯方工夫も有之間敷哉各ゟ大庄屋
共へ被申渡工夫之品も有之候ハヽ兼而申出候様可被申渡候此段申聞候様被仰出候

○別紙の通り仰せ出され候間、早速書付を指し出すべく候。もし昨年の御入用がなく候わば、その段これまた申し達すべく候。以上 二月 各中 勘定所

○先達て申し渡し候通り、昨夏諸役方へ直接仰せ渡しもこれあり候えば、別して面々出精致し、御倹約筋取り扱い申すべき事に候。右につきては、昨年御入用を役々において去る午年の御入用と見比べ、増減書付を指し出すべく候。なお又仰せ出され候は、以来ともに御在国中はその前の御在国年と引き比べ、御留守年はその前の御留守年と引き比べ、年々増減書付を役々より差し出し候よう、これまた仰せ出され候。

○先達て公儀から御預所へ仰せ出しもこれあり、その趣旨をもって御領分へも触れ候よう申し渡し候。凶年の節、在方の貯蓄の儀、各々承知の通りに候。なお又仰せ出され候は、常々凶年の儀を心得居らずにては、もし凶作これある節、在方の食事に支障をきたし難儀候事に候。もっとも御手の及ぶだけは御救いも下され候えども、在方においても常々心掛け、何か凶作の節の助けに相成り候貯え方の工夫もこれあるべきや。各々から大庄屋共へ申し渡し、工夫の品もこれあり候わば、兼ねて申し出候よう申し渡すべく候。この段申し聞け候よう仰せ出され候。

○御領分在方から他国へ稼ぎに罷り出候儀、御定めもこれあり候処、先年までは人数多く罷り在り候。もっとも近年は数少なくは相成り候えども、色々の儀に事寄せ他国へ罷り出候者もこれあり候。百姓ども人数少なく相成り候ては、御領分農業稼ぎの力薄く相成るは道理に候間、なお以て以来みだりに他国へ稼ぎに指し出さず候よう相心得べく候。もっとも余儀なき子細これあり相願い候わば、厚く訳合を相糺し相達すべく候。この段申し渡し候よう仰せ出され候。

○As previously instructed, since direct orders were issued to various departments last summer, everyone should work diligently and handle matters of frugality. Regarding this, each department should submit reports comparing last year's expenses with those of the previous Horse year, showing increases and decreases. Furthermore, it is ordered that from now on, during his lordship's residence in the domain, comparisons should be made with the previous year of residence, and during his absence, comparisons should be made with the previous year of absence, with annual increase/decrease reports to be submitted by each department.

Magistrate of Four Districts
○Previously, there was an announcement from the shogunate to territories under direct administration, and it was ordered that the same message be conveyed to our domain territories. Regarding storage in rural areas during bad harvest years, everyone is aware of this matter. Furthermore, it is announced that if one does not always keep in mind the possibility of bad harvests, there will be difficulties with food supply in rural areas when poor harvests occur. While relief will be provided to the extent of our capability, rural areas should also be constantly mindful and devise storage methods that could help during poor harvests. Each magistrate should instruct the head village officials, and if there are any innovative methods, they should be reported in advance. This matter is to be communicated as ordered.

○Regarding people from rural areas of our domain going to other provinces to work, there are established regulations. Until recent years, many people were doing this. Although the numbers have decreased in recent years, there are still those who go to other provinces under various pretexts. When the number of farmers decreases, it naturally weakens the agricultural productivity of our domain. Therefore, people should not carelessly go to other provinces to work. However, if there are unavoidable circumstances and a request is made, the reasons should be thoroughly investigated before permission is granted. This matter is to be conveyed as ordered.
