悪作并宿中火難不時之難儀有之亦復三疋相減近来七疋ニ而相勤候故外宿
と違持込宿ニ而指支近宿相雇増賃銭相渡其上去年来七疋之内五疋病馬ニ而
難渋相重り候何卒右病馬五疋繋替今新ニ宿馬三疋相増都合馬数拾疋ニ而
御用無恙相勤申度処自力ニ難叶頭立候者共引受ニ而俵数拝借相願候依之
吟味之上宿馬三疋新ニ繋并病五疋繋替為入用米三拾五俵当辰暮ゟ十
年賦上納ニ而拝借被仰付候其段可被申渡候弊併右浅水之儀ハ年々御手当有之処近来
も宿馬之儀申立過分之拝借米も被仰付未た上納皆済無之内亦復申立候儀不〆り
之願ニ候へハ於役所篤と糺候上以後無子細役馬を相減或ハ持替之節願ケ間敷儀
致間敷旨〆り証文等入念被申付右之趣可被取扱候

悪作や宿中の火災などの不測の難儀があり、また三匹を減らし、近頃は七匹で勤めているため、他の宿場とは違って持ち込み宿となって支障をきたし、近隣の宿場を雇って増賃銭を渡している。その上、去年来七匹のうち五匹が病馬となって難渋が重なっている。何とか右の病馬五匹を繋ぎ替え、今新たに宿馬三匹を増やし、都合馬数十匹で御用を無事に勤めたいところだが、自力では叶い難く、頭立つ者たちが引き受けて俵数拝借を願い出ている。これにより吟味の上、宿馬三匹を新たに繋ぎ、病気の五匹を繋ぎ替えるための入用として米三十五俵を、当辰年の暮れから十年賦上納で拝借を申し付けられた。その段を申し渡すべきである。しかしながら、右の浅水については年々御手当があるところ、近来も宿馬のことを申し立て過分の拝借米も申し付けられ、まだ上納皆済がないうちにまた申し立てることは締まりのない願いである。役所において厳しく糺した上、以後無用に役馬を減らしたり、または持ち替えの際に願うべきでない儀をしてはならない旨、締まりのある証文等を入念に申し付け、右の趣を取り扱うべきである。
