〇石場町久左衛門与申者代々御馬御用相勤候処近年御用薄く渡世致難儀候ニ付加茂河原町
地面を借受二月末ゟ八九月頃迄為助力借馬致度段願之通御免被成下候間其段可申渡旨
一加茂河原町之内借地馬場ニおゐてハ軽キ御扶持人御家中軽キ奉公人或ハ町人百姓
たりとも望次第為乗候而も御貪着無之事
但右馬場外ニ而者右体軽キ者共へ借馬を為乗儀ハ御法も有之候得ハ堅相
成不候事
一御家中之面々遠乗或ハ西之馬場桜之馬場江牽出し為乗候事ハ不苦候事
但加茂河原町借馬場外ニおゐて軽キ者共打込為乗候様相成候而ハ無礼咎申分
出来可申儀ニ候得者借地馬場外ニおゐてハ堅可為無用事

〇御鷹格前不足ニ茂有之其上本所御屋敷等へも度々罷越御人茂指支申ニ付
近年ハ御出殿等も至而折節被為 在候間御小人之内年若之者両人程御鷹格方
習候様被仰出候尤御使其外御供等にも罷出平日御屋鋪罷在候節二見浦右衛門へ
習稽古可仕候右之通御徒目付并御鷹掛りへも可申渡候
但於御国表御小人ゟ御鷹方へ出役之例を以被仰付候
二月十三日

〇兼而格別之御威光ニ候処今般亦復結構之御様子ニ付町在之者共心得違他国
他領之者へ対シ御威光を以かさつ法外成儀無之様猶以御条目可相
守事ニ候組頭并其所〳〵之役人等厚此旨を相心得末々之者迄常々堅
相慎候様可致事ニ候且亦宿々問屋共之儀武士ハ勿論惣而対旅人無作法
無慈悲之致方有之間敷事ニ候右之趣急度可申付旨被仰出候条入
念可被申付候
付御法度も在之所百姓共家居衣服を始持仏堂并仏具等結構を

町奉行へ
○石場町久左衛門と申す者、代々御馬御用を相勤めているところ、近年御用が薄く渡世致し難儀しているにつき、加茂河原町の地面を借り受け、二月末より八九月頃まで助力のため借馬をしたい段、願いの通り御免を成し下される間、その段申し渡すべき旨
一、加茂河原町の内借地馬場においては軽き御扶持人、御家中軽き奉公人、或いは町人百姓たりとも望み次第乗馬させても御貪着なきこと
但し右馬場外にては右のような軽き者共へ借馬を乗せる義は御法もあることであるから、堅く相成らぬこと
一、御家中の面々、遠乗或いは西の馬場、桜の馬場へ牽き出して乗ることは苦しからぬこと
但し加茂河原町借馬場外において軽き者共が打ち込んで乗るようになっては無礼咎め申し分が出来るであろうことであるから、借地馬場外においては堅く無用とすべきこと

○兼ねて格別の御威光であるところ、今般また復結構の御様子につき、町在の者共心得違い、他国他領の者へ対し御威光をもってかさに着、法外な義なきよう、なお以て御条目を相守るべきことである。組頭並びにその所々の役人等厚くこの旨を相心得、末々の者まで常々堅く相慎むよう致すべきことである。且つまた宿々問屋共の義、武士はもちろん総て旅人に対し無作法無慈悲の致し方あるべからざることである。右の趣急度申し付けるべき旨仰せ出されるにつき、入念に申し付けらるべきである

1. At the borrowed riding ground within Kamo-gawara-chō, even low-ranking stipend recipients, low-ranking retainers of the house, or townspeople and farmers may ride as they wish without objection
However, outside this riding ground, lending horses to such low-ranking persons is prohibited by law, so this is strictly forbidden
1. For members of the samurai class, distant riding or taking horses to the western riding ground or cherry riding ground is acceptable
However, if low-ranking persons were to intrude and ride outside the Kamo-gawara-chō rental riding ground, it would create grounds for accusations of impropriety, so outside the rental riding ground this is strictly forbidden

○As there is also a shortage of falcon handlers, and moreover people frequently going to Honjo residence and other places causes disruptions, in recent years official outings have been quite occasional, so it has been ordered that about two young men from among the minor officials should learn falcon handling. Of course, they should also serve as messengers and attendants, and when normally residing at the residence, they should learn and practice under Futami Uraemon. This should also be communicated to the foot inspectors and falcon officials
However, this is ordered following the precedent of minor officials serving in falcon duties at the domain seat

○While there has always been exceptional authority, now again with excellent circumstances, the townspeople and villagers should not misunderstand and use this authority arrogantly against people from other domains and territories, conducting illegal affairs. They should further observe the regulations. Squad leaders and officials of various places should thoroughly understand this intent and ensure that even the lowest-ranking people constantly exercise strict caution. Moreover, regarding innkeepers and wholesale merchants, not only toward samurai but toward all travelers, there should be no rude or merciless behavior. It has been ordered that this matter should be strictly enforced, so it should be implemented with care
