尽シ或ハ小商等致候之儀近来猥ニ相聞候追而御吟味之品も可有之候且又
宿々問屋共兼而申付方も可有之処人足馬方共対シ旅人江ねたりかま
しき義共在之様相聞候是亦相顕レ候上ハ厳敷被仰付方も可有之候条
猶以入念夫々可被申付置候

〇御金蔵下番人前々御持筒組小頭共抜所ニ候処先年御趣意ニ付次第減ニ
被仰付御持筒番組ゟ助相勤候様被仰付置候処此度 思召を以前々之通
右小頭共抜所ニ被仰付候尤是迄六人二而相勤候処壱人被相減以後五人ニ而相勤
候様被仰付候依之御持筒番組ゟ助番之儀ハ被相止候且亦先年ゟ右小頭共
毛屋繰舟番抜所ニ候処以前之通御水主組抜所ニ被仰付候其外焔硝蔵番
人之儀も前々之通被仰付候此段夫々可被申渡候

〇先達而 御自筆写を以被仰出候通長々過分之上納米被仰付置次第ニ
及困窮候趣甚以 御苦労被思召様々御評議有之候処兎角御難渋
之御勝手ニ而不被任 御心底候得共歩通り俵数を以御手当ニ成下候此上
倹約之義ハ猶以堅相守何分致勘弁取続御奉公相勤候様 思召候此段
可申渡旨被仰出候右俵数割合之義ハ追而御奉行共ゟ可申達候

〇近年御時節柄ニ付御家中馬数相減馬術不行届義与 思召候御馬方之者之内ニも
乗下タ少キ面々ハ別而之義自然与怠り候様ニ成行候義可有之哉左様相成候而ハ
心得違之事ニ候年頃之忰共為修行此表へ指出候義御用ニも相立旁尤之
事ニ被思召候仍之御時節柄ニハ候得共指出候忰共此表ニ罷在候内三人扶持
被下置候此段御国元へも申遣候様柄田与次内へ可被申渡候
現代語訳
尽くし或いは小商等をすることが近来みだりに聞こえる。追って御吟味の品もあるであろう。且つまた宿々問屋共、兼ねて申し付け方もあるところ、人足馬方共が旅人に対しねたりかましきことがあるように聞こえる。これもまた相現れた上は厳しく仰せ付けられることもあるであろうから、なお以て入念にそれぞれ申し付け置かれるべきである
三月十一日
御目付へ
○御金蔵下番人は前々御持筒組小頭共の抜き所であったところ、先年の御趣意により次第に減らされ、御持筒番組より助けて相勤めるよう仰せ付け置かれたところ、この度の思し召しをもって前々の通り右小頭共の抜き所に仰せ付けられる。もっともこれまで六人にて相勤めたところ、一人を減らし、以後五人にて相勤めるよう仰せ付けられる。これにより御持筒番組より助番の義は止められる。且つまた先年より右小頭共は毛屋繰舟番の抜き所であったところ、以前の通り御水主組抜き所に仰せ付けられる。その外焔硝蔵番人の義も前々の通り仰せ付けられる。この段それぞれ申し渡されるべきである

○近年御時節柄により御家中馬数相減り馬術行き届かぬ義と思し召される。御馬方の者の内にも乗り下手少なき面々は別しての義、自然と怠り候ようになり行く義があるだろうか。左様になっては心得違いのことである。年頃の忰共修行のためこの表へ指し出す義は御用にも相立ち、かたがた尤もの事に思し召される。仍ってこの御時節柄ではあるけれども、指し出した忰共がこの表に罷りある内、三人扶持を下し置かれる。この段御国元へも申し遣わすよう柄田与次内へ申し渡されるべきである

To the Inspectors
○The treasury guard positions were previously selected from among the gun unit squad leaders, but due to the policy of recent years, they were gradually reduced and it was ordered that the gun unit guards would assist in the duties. However, by the current lord's will, it has been ordered that these positions return to being selected from the squad leaders as before. Although previously served by six men, one is to be reduced and henceforth the duty will be performed by five men. Accordingly, the assistance from the gun unit guards is discontinued. Moreover, while these squad leaders have since recent years been selected for the Keya rowing boat guard positions, they are now to be assigned to positions selected from the naval unit as before. Additionally, the gunpowder storehouse guards are also to be assigned as before. These matters should be communicated to each respective party

To the Various Monthly Duty Officers
○As previously announced through the handwritten copy, the prolonged excessive rice tribute that was ordered has led to increasing hardship. This has caused great concern to the lord, and after various deliberations, although the difficult financial circumstances do not allow full implementation of his wishes, relief will be provided through a certain rate per bushel. Furthermore, the practice of frugality should be maintained even more strictly, and service should continue with patience and understanding. This is to be communicated. The allocation of the bushel numbers will be announced later by the magistrates

However, on Fifth Month, 11th Day, it was also ordered to the town magistrates that assistance be provided to the family temples
In Edo Tagaya Gonbee
○In recent years, due to the current circumstances, the number of horses among the retainers has decreased and horsemanship has become inadequate. Among the horse handlers, those with poor riding skills may naturally become negligent due to lack of practice. If this occurs, it would be a misunderstanding of duty. Sending young sons to the capital for training serves official purposes and is quite reasonable. Therefore, although these are difficult times, while the sons who are sent remain in the capital, they shall be provided with a stipend for three people. This matter should also be communicated to the domain seat through Karata Yojirō
