〇当年若殿様為御名代御初入被遊候趣ニ御極りも有之且又面々為心得被仰出候
御書付
当年御帰国之儀御表様御内願之儀被成御座為御名代若殿様御国へ被為入
御儀去年来一ツ橋中納言様江御相続被遊御取調有之候得共御勝手向御難渋
至極候故御規定難被成表立被仰出及御延引候然ル処弥為御名代被為入候
御願近く被指出候御決評ニ相成候且又御勝手向之儀是迄御手法之御趣法共
追々ニ仰出候得共元来御収納高薄ク前々ゟ過分之御跡引ニ相成御趣意も
相立兼御難渋之御事共ニ而弥以御太切之御事末之御家《見せ消ち：来｜中》御扶助等も可及御指支
哉与甚御苦労至極ニ被思召候依之追々御格外之御趣法被相立猶又厳重御取
締り被仰出候筈ニ候御家中之面々尚以節倹之儀専相用都而奢ケ間敷儀ハ相互ニ
心を付前々被仰出候趣相守可申候尚又心得違無之様思召候以上

〇近年厚キ思召を以支配頭之面々御前へ被召出支配向之者とも家中取〆り之儀
被遊御意心得違不埒之儀無之様甚被遊御苦労候然ル処大勢之御家中之事ニハ
候得共不慎之者共も可有之御咎等被仰付置候近来者武芸学文等出精ニハ候得共
風儀不宜惰弱ニ有之候而者自然与不埒之筋出候向々組支配之頭々厚相心得不埒之
者出不申候様致世話遣し候様ニ被思召候以来支配頭ハ諸願取次候斗と頭之勤与相心得
不申御預之組支配宜相成候を第一と相心得可申候万一不埒之輩有之候節御気毒

諸月番へ
○当年、若殿様が御名代として御初入りされる件について決定があり、また面々への心得として仰せ出された御書付
当年の御帰国の件について、御表様の御内願の件がございまして、御名代として若殿様が御国へ入られる件、去年から一橋中納言様へ御相続されて御取調べがございましたが、御勝手向（財政）が極めて困窮しているため、御規定を定めることができず、表立って仰せ出すことが延引に及んでおります。しかしながら、いよいよ御名代として入られる御願いが近く提出され、御決定となります。また御勝手向の件は、これまでの御手法の御趣法共を追々に仰せ出されましたが、もともと御収納高が薄く、前々から過分の御跡引きとなり、御趣意も立ちかね、困窮の御事共で、いよいよもって御大切の御事、末の御家の御扶助等も御指支えに及ぶのではないかと甚だ御苦労の至極と思し召されています。これにより追々御格外の御趣法を立てられ、なおまた厳重な御取締りを仰せ出される筈です。御家中の面々はなおいっそう節倹の件を専ら相用い、すべて贅沢間敷きことは相互に心を付け、前々仰せ出された趣きを守るべきです。なおまた心得違いのないよう思し召されます。以上

御書付 支配頭の面々へ
○近年、厚き思し召しをもって支配頭の面々を御前へ召し出し、支配向の者ども、家中取締りの件を御意され、心得違い不埒の件のないよう甚だ御苦労されています。しかしながら大勢の御家中のことではありますが、不慎の者どもも有るべく、御咎等を仰せ付け置かれています。近来は武芸学文等出精ではありますが、風儀がよろしくなく惰弱にあり、自然と不埒の筋が出てきます。向々組支配の頭々は厚く相心得、不埒の者が出ないよう世話をするように思し召されています。以来、支配頭は諸願取次ぎをするばかりが頭の勤めと心得申さず、御預りの組支配がよく相成ることを第一と心得申すべきです。万一不埒の輩が有る節は御気毒に思し召されますが、厳しき御咎めの御沙汰に及ぶことが毎度あっては御不便に思し召されるので、なおまた心得のため仰せ出されることです。

○In recent years, with gracious consideration, the various group heads have been summoned before His Lordship regarding the supervision of their subordinates and the control of the retainer band, and great effort has been made to ensure there are no misunderstandings or misconduct. However, with such a large retainer band, there will inevitably be some imprudent individuals, and punishments have been ordered. Recently, although there has been diligence in martial arts and learning, the conduct is poor and characterized by laziness, naturally leading to misconduct. The heads of various group supervisions should thoroughly understand this and take care that no misconduct occurs. Henceforth, group heads should not think that their duty consists only of relaying various petitions, but should understand that the proper functioning of their assigned group supervision is of primary importance. Should there be any misconduct, while it would be regrettable, it would be unfortunate if strict punishments were frequently necessary, so this is announced for understanding.
