一御守殿御門番向後黒小倉単羽織弐下分代銀ニ而被下是迄品渡り之分被相止候事
一御広敷錠前御貸物向後黒小倉単袴四下麻上下之肩衣御貸被成夏冬兼用ニ
相成是迄御貸被成候京機留裏絹上下綟肩衣高宮袴被相止候事
一絹両面綿入御貸羽織向後被相止候事
一御預所御勝手役下代壱人去子暮ゟ被減置候処今度御省略ニ付向後壱人被相減候事
一御在府中正月六日 前記同断 但御吸物塩鱈御肴一種御酒三遍

外ニ御弁当被下候儀ニ付御書付有之略之

一百姓持山等者其所之村役人へ申聞相廻り可申事
一薬草之外樹木類縦令持主相対たりとも相廻り候節取来候儀致間敷事
一茸之時節相廻り候儀ハ可致遠慮事
右之通ニ而御医師共相廻り薬草取来候品ハ勿論其持主相対を以貰請且又売
買ニ及候品ハ価を以持主ゟ相求猥ニ無之様可致事
右之通被仰付候

〇段々はしやき之時節ニ成当春ハ風烈候間火之元之儀別而入念候様急度可被申付候且
又薬売膏薬売或物貰豆蔵類之者他所ゟ入込候儀不相成候若通り掛り候者
候ハヽ両問屋共ゟ付送り可申候惣而うろん成者為立入間敷旨兼而被仰付置候儀ニハ
候へ共改而申付候間猶厳重ニ可被申渡候

○段々はしやきの時節になり当春は風烈しく候間火の元の儀別して入念候よう急度申し付けらるべく候且つまた薬売膏薬売或いは物貰豆蔵類の者他所より入り込み候儀相成らず候若し通りかかり候者候わば両問屋共より付け送り申すべく候総じてうろん成る者立ち入るまじき旨兼ねて仰せ付け置かれ候儀には候えども改めて申し付け候間なお厳重に申し渡さるべく候
英語訳
haori jackets shall be provided.
1. For the guards at the entrance of the lord's quarters: henceforth, black kogura plain haori jackets worth two silver coins each shall be provided, and the previous practice of providing various items shall be discontinued.
1. For locks at the ōhiroma (main hall) and lending items: henceforth, black kogura plain hakama trousers and shoulder garments of hemp kamishimo (formal wear) shall be lent for both summer and winter use. The previously lent Kyōhata silk-lined kamishimo, aya silk shoulder garments, and Takamiya hakama shall be discontinued.
1. The lending of silk double-faced cotton-padded haori jackets shall be discontinued henceforth.
1. Regarding the assistant to the accounting official at the administrative office: one person was reduced from last winter, and now due to cost-cutting measures, one more person shall be reduced henceforth.
1. During residence in Edo, on the 6th day of the first month: Same as previously recorded. However, clear soup with salted cod, one type of side dish, and sake served three times.

1. For the guards at the entrance of Reiganjima tea garden: henceforth, the middle division group shall perform this duty. Previously it was the advance guard group, and two people from the next advance guard detail are reduced.

○ The domain physicians request to examine medicinal herbs for training purposes
This is a matter of dedication to their profession, therefore the following instructions are issued as per the attached document

1. For domain mountains: notify the mountain patrol guards before making rounds
1. For temple and shrine territory mountains: notify the temples before making rounds
1. For mountains owned by farmers: inform the village officials of that area before making rounds
1. Aside from medicinal herbs, even if there is agreement with the landowner, do not take trees or other vegetation during rounds
1. Refrain from making rounds during mushroom season
Following these rules, when physicians make their rounds and collect medicinal herbs, whether obtained through agreement with landowners or through purchase, they must obtain them properly from the landowners at fair prices without any irregularities.
These instructions are hereby issued.

○ The dry season is approaching and this spring the winds are strong, so fire prevention measures must be implemented with particular care. Furthermore, medicine peddlers, ointment sellers, beggars, and bean storehouse workers from other areas are not permitted to enter. If such people pass through, both wholesale merchants shall escort them out. Generally, suspicious persons are not to be allowed entry - while these orders have been previously issued, they are reaffirmed and must be communicated with even greater strictness.
