【図の説明】
襪（足袋）
　あるものは布製、あるものは革製である。襪は短く、くるぶしに達する。それより上は外側を向く。中央の縫い目で口を開く。交差させて結ぶ。足指に近い所で、別に一つの穴を作って親指を入れる。これは草履を履くためである。

靸（草履）
　靸は細い席草で編んで作る。前に一本の縄がある。親指とその間を分ける。かかとを引きずって歩く。男女ともにこれを履く。

儀従
　国相は、開棍二人、刀二人、槍二人、旗二人、合計五十人。緑の紬の傘、板輿を二人で担ぐ。《割書：外側には倭緞と銅の釘を用い、内側には彩絵を加える。輿の様式は竹輿と皆同じである。》

　法司王舅は、紅の開棍二人、紅の板二人、真の倭刀二人、真の倭槍二人。《割書：槍の上に大きな紅のラシャの旗がある。長さ一尺、幅二寸ほど。》竹輿を二人で担ぐ。以下同様。

　紫金大夫は、紅の開棍二人、紅の板二人、仮の長い倭槍二人、真の倭刀二人。

　正議中議大夫は、紅の開棍二人、紅の板二人、仮の長い倭槍二人《割書：木で作る。上は四角で下は円い。》

【Figure Descriptions】
Socks (Tabi)
　Some are made of cloth, others of leather. The socks are short, reaching the ankle. Above that part faces outward. The mouth opens at the center seam. They are crossed and tied. Near the toes, a separate hole is made to house the big toe. This is for wearing straw sandals.

Sandals (Sa)
　Sandals are woven from fine mat grass. There is one rope at the front. It separates between the big toe and the others. One walks dragging the heel. Both men and women wear these.

Ceremonial Retinue
　The State Minister has: two men with opening staffs, two with swords, two with spears, two with flags, totaling fifty people. A green silk umbrella and board palanquin carried by two people. 《Marginal note: The exterior uses Japanese damask and copper nails, the interior adds colored paintings. The palanquin style is the same as bamboo palanquins.》

　The Legal Officer and Royal Uncle have: two men with red opening staffs, two with red boards, two with genuine Japanese swords, two with genuine Japanese spears. 《Marginal note: Above the spears are large red woolen flags, one shaku long and about two sun wide.》 A bamboo palanquin carried by two people. The same applies below.

　Purple-Gold Grand Masters have: two men with red opening staffs, two with red boards, two with fake long Japanese spears, two with genuine Japanese swords.
