今度御当地江御目付衆御城受取之御衆被差遣候に付最前以
使者申達之通諸事穏便に作法宜御城引渡候様に可
申達旨重而土屋相模守様より采女正方へ被仰聞候依之

何れも美濃大垣より直に赤穂へ赴く
一、采女正殿使者戸田権左衛門、里見孫大夫、鹿野次部右衛門、
八田彦大夫四月六日赤穂へ到着、ただし次部右衛門、彦大夫は三月二十六日
江戸発足なり。赤穂御家老、御用人、御目付右五人の面々、権左衛門町
宅へ集まり、何れも招き寄せ申し渡しの覚書の写し
今度御当地へ御目付衆、御城受け取りの御衆を差し遣わされ候につき、最前
使者を以て申し達しの通り、諸事穏便に作法よろしく御城引き渡し候様に
申し達すべき旨、重ねて土屋相模守様より采女正方へ仰せ聞かされ候、これにより

Furthermore, three men were dispatched: chief retainer Toda Gonzaemon, vice-envoy Satomi Magodayū, and Sugimura Jūdayū
All proceeded directly from Ōgaki in Mino Province to Akō
1. Lord Uneme-no-shō's messengers Toda Gonzaemon, Satomi Magodayū, Kano Jibu'emon,
and Hatta Hikodayū arrived at Akō on the 6th day of the 4th month, however Jibu'emon and Hikodayū departed Edo on the 26th day of the 3rd month.
The five men—Akō's chief retainer, steward, and inspector—gathered at Gonzaemon's town residence, where all were summoned and given instructions. Copy of the memorandum:
"Regarding the dispatch of inspectors and those who will receive the castle to your domain this time, as previously communicated through messengers, you are to conduct all matters peacefully and with proper protocol for the castle's handover."
This message was again conveyed from Lord Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami to Lord Uneme-no-shō's side, therefore
