一、城の引き渡しが済むまで居残る役人衆の指図の上で、赤穂を引き払うべき面々

右のうち病気の者がいる場合は、各々相談の上、同役のうちで残るべきこと
物頭 四人 給人 四人
右は大手門、塩屋口門、二の丸門、本丸門の四箇所へ二人ずつ配置すべし。右以外の門々で普段番人のいない所は、門を開けて鍵と共に引き渡すべきこと

1. Those who shall withdraw from Akō under the direction of officials who remain until the castle transfer is completed:
Ōishi Kuranosuke, Tanaka Seibei, Tomura Genzaemon
Itō Goemon, Mase Kyūdayū, Tanaka Gonemon
Should any of the above be ill, they shall consult among themselves and one of their colleagues shall remain in their place.
Four captains (monogashira), Four stipend holders (kyūnin)
The above shall be stationed two each at the four locations: Ōte-mon gate, Shioya-guchi gate, Ninomaru gate, and Honmaru gate. For all other gates where there are normally no guards, the gates shall be opened and handed over with their keys.
