現代語訳

今度内匠頭殿の不慮の出来事について、皆様がお嘆きになることと心中をお察し申し上げます。つきましては、城受取役を仰せ付けられてそちらへ派遣されますので、そちらの末端に至るまで作法よく申し付けられ、相違なく城の引き渡しをされることが最もなことです。そのための使者を派遣いたします。詳細については井上団右衛門並びに丹羽源兵衛が申し伝えます。
