その件について、内匠への家来中の奉公の筋は速やかにその地を引き払い、城を滞りなく相渡しする段は、公儀を重んじる内匠の日頃の存念に叶うことであるので、申すまでもないことであるが、追々の指図の通りに守られ、早速穏便に退去される段が肝要なことである。この旨を家中の面々が承知して納得すべきものである。

Regarding this matter, the retainers' service to Takumi should quickly withdraw from that place, and the handover of the castle without delay would accord with Takumi's long-held intention of respecting the government. Though it goes without saying, it is essential that the gradual instructions be followed and that withdrawal be carried out promptly and peacefully. All members of the household should understand and accept this message.
