仕合奉存候幷御意之趣を以貴様御口上に九左衛門次右衛門
江被仰聞候通も致承知奉畏候家中之者共に具に申聞
候処得心仕奉畏段々爰元引払申儀に御座候追々
御下知之通城引渡可申候右之御請は戸田権左衛門殿江申上
候得共猶又御序之刻宜御執成奉頼候恐惶謹言

幸いに存じます。また、御意向の趣旨により、貴様が九左衛門、次右衛門にお話しになった通りのことも承知し、恐れ入ります。家中の者たちに詳しく申し聞かせましたところ、納得いたし恐縮しております。段々とこちらを引き払う儀でございます。追々御下知の通り、城の引き渡しを申し上げます。右の御請は戸田権左衛門殿に申し上げましたが、なお又お時間のある時に、よろしくお取り計らいくださいますようお頼み申し上げます。恐惶謹言

We consider this most fortunate. Also, according to your intentions, we have understood and humbly acknowledge what you conveyed orally to Kyuzaemon and Jiuemon. When we informed all the retainers in detail, they understood and humbly accepted. We are gradually withdrawing from this place. Following your successive orders, we shall surrender the castle. While we have conveyed this acknowledgment to Lord Toda Gonzaemon, we still humbly request your kind intercession when you have the opportunity. With utmost respect and reverence.
