○一 石原新左衛門殿御宿所 柏屋道閑《割書：引渡し後は伊藤五右衛門屋敷》

一 家中の面々が赤穂引き払いに付き、御目付中より宿証文を下された。江戸へ引き越す者へは、願い次第で女切手を下された。
○一 小野寺十内が頃日京都より帰参したことに付き、御目付中様、御代官中様の御宿所の見分・掃除、その外御馳走の義、諸事見繕うようにと申し付け、並びに他方より参る御使者の宿所についても、これまた諸事馳走の義を相勤めるようにと内蔵助が申し付けた。

One: Regarding the retainers' withdrawal from Akō, accommodation certificates were issued by the inspectors (metsuke). For those moving to Edo, women's travel permits were granted upon request.
○ One: Since Onodera Jūnai recently returned from Kyoto, [Ōishi] Kuranosuke ordered him to inspect and clean the lodgings for the honorable inspectors and magistrates, and to make arrangements for their hospitality in all matters. Similarly, he was ordered to attend to all aspects of hospitality for the lodgings of envoys coming from other domains.
