一是は被 仰付に而は無之内匠殿 上江対しいふかき
御咎め無之御作法に付此通り被 仰付候間家中之者何方に
有之候共御構無之候右三十日之内緩々引払候様可被仕候
赤穂領住宅仕度面々は断可被申聞候無断は難成候と
御内意有之候
一妻子引関東江下り度面々有之候は御関所切手之義
於江戸埒明来候間諸司代迄可申遣旨被仰候
一家中引払之面々宿證文遣し可申候

一 これは仰せ付けによるものではなく、内匠殿が上に対して深い御咎めがないという御作法により、このように仰せ付けられましたので、家中の者はどこにいようとも御構いはありません。右の三十日の間に、ゆっくりと引き払うようにお務めください。赤穂領に住居したい面々は、断りを申し聞かせるべきです。無断では成り立たないとの御内意がございます
一 妻子を連れて関東へ下りたい面々がおりましたら、御関所切手の件は江戸において決着が付いてまいりますので、所司代まで申し遣わすべき旨を仰せになりました
一 家中で引き払う面々には宿証文を遣わすべきです

One: This is not by direct order, but because Lord Takumi bears no deep blame toward his superiors, and in accordance with proper protocol, this has been so ordered. Therefore, the retainers, wherever they may be, need not be concerned. During the aforementioned thirty days, they should evacuate at a leisurely pace. Those who wish to reside in Akō domain should make their intentions known through proper notification. It cannot be done without permission, according to the inner directive.
One: For those who wish to go down to the Kantō region with their wives and children, the matter of checkpoint passes will be settled in Edo, so [applications] should be sent to the Shoshidai, as was ordered.
One: Lodging certificates should be provided to those retainers who are evacuating.
