一井戸之義当城内水筋悪敷候故前々堀井戸申付候得共出
来不仕候本城之内二三之郭家中屋敷共に水道用水に

一 三の丸門 四か所
一 井戸の件について、当城内は水脈が悪いため、以前から堀井戸を掘るよう命じましたが、うまくいきませんでした。本城の内、二の丸・三の丸・家中屋敷ともに水道用水として使用しています。二の丸の内、大手前両所ともに堀井戸がございますが、用水として使用が困難なため、使用を止めています。

One: Regarding wells, because the water veins within this castle are poor, we have previously ordered the digging of wells, but they have not been successful. Within the main castle, the second bailey, third bailey, and retainer residences all use piped water. Within the second bailey, there are dug wells at both locations in front of the main entrance, but because they are difficult to use for water supply, we have abandoned their use.
