肥後守殿立場 搦手堀端より西馬場筋塩屋口迄十丁程
○一卯中刻城受取之人数城江入引渡等相済淡路守殿肥後守殿
城中江御入被成候節追手之方江内蔵助塩屋口門之方江将監罷出
候筈之処両門江御目付中御差図に而御同道候間内蔵助将監は
御玄関白砂迄罷出候様にとの儀に付御入之節両人共白砂江罷出其後
大書院江両人罷出いつれも御列座に而御目見仕候龍野衆披
露畢内蔵助初城内に相勤候輩川口門之脇に待合一同に
城外江罷出る

肥後守殿の立場は搦手堀端より西馬場筋塩屋口まで十町程
○一、卯の刻中頃に城受取の人数が城へ入り、引き渡し等が相済んだ。淡路守殿と肥後守殿が城中へお入りになる際、追手の方へは内蔵助が、塩屋口門の方へは将監が出向く筈であったが、両門へ御目付中の御指図でお同道することになったため、内蔵助と将監は御玄関の白砂まで出向くようにとのことで、御入城の際は両人とも白砂へ出向いた。その後大書院へ両人が出向き、いずれも御列座にて御目見えを仕った。龍野衆の披露が終わり、内蔵助をはじめ城内に勤めていた者達は川口門の脇に待合し、一同に城外へ出た。

Lord Higo-no-kami's staging area was about 10 chō from the rear gate moat embankment to Shioya-guchi via West Baba-suji.
○One: Around the middle of the Hour of the Rabbit, the personnel for receiving the castle entered the castle, and the handover proceedings were completed. When Lord Awaji-no-kami and Lord Higo-no-kami entered the castle, Kuranosuke was to go out toward the main gate and Shōgen toward Shioya-guchi gate, but since the inspectors directed that they accompany [the lords] to both gates, it was arranged that Kuranosuke and Shōgen should go out to the white sand area of the main entrance. When [the lords] entered, both men went out to the white sand area. Afterwards, both men went to the Great Shoin where they had audience in formal seating arrangement. After the presentation of the Tatsuno retainers was completed, Kuranosuke and others who had been serving within the castle assembled at the side of Kawaguchi gate and all departed from the castle together.
