右御裏書有之手形御代官衆江佐々小左衛門五月十一日致持参
銀壱貫五百四拾三匁壱分四厘吉田貞右衛門受取罷帰る右為御礼

○一残人五月十一日より廿一日迄日数十一日分不残相渡候に付手形相認同
廿二日新左衛門殿江小左衛門忠左衛門佐左衛門持参米七石七斗五升五合代
銀五百六拾六匁壱分五厘五月廿四日庄大夫殿より御渡被成佐左衛門
受取罷帰る石七拾三匁相場也手形認様如前奥書宛所等右同断
両度之米高合弐拾八石九斗三升五合代銀〆弐貫百拾匁二分

現代語訳
右の御裏書のある手形を、御代官衆へ佐々小左衛門が五月十一日に持参した。
銀一貫五百四十三匁一分四厘を吉田貞右衛門が受け取って帰った。右のお礼として、御代官衆へ内蔵助が参上した。
○一 残りの人々について、五月十一日より二十一日まで日数十一日分を残らず相渡したことにより手形を認め、同二十二日に新左衛門殿へ小左衛門・忠左衛門・佐左衛門が持参した。米七石七斗五升五合の代金として、銀五百六十六匁一分五厘を五月二十四日に庄大夫殿より渡され、佐左衛門が受け取って帰った。石七十三匁の相場である。手形の認め方は前の通り、奥書・宛所等も右同様である。
両度の米高合計二十八石九斗三升五合、代金銀〆二貫百十匁二分五厘が相渡されたのである。
英語訳
The certificate with the above-mentioned endorsement was brought to the daikan officials by Sasa Kozaemon on the 11th day of the 5th month.
Yoshida Sadaemon received 1 kan 543 monme 1 bu 4 rin of silver and returned. As thanks for the above, Kuranosuke went to pay respects to the daikan officials.
○One item: Regarding the remaining people, from the 11th day of the 5th month to the 21st day, payment for 11 days was made in full, so a certificate was written, and on the same 22nd day, Kozaemon, Chūzaemon, and Sazaemon brought it to Shinzaemon-dono. For 7 koku 7 to 5 shō 5 gō of rice, 566 monme 1 bu 5 rin of silver was delivered by Shōdayū-dono on the 24th day of the 5th month, which Sazaemon received and returned with. The market rate was 73 monme per koku. The method of writing the certificate was as before, and the endorsement, addressee, etc. were the same as above.
The total rice amount for both occasions was 28 koku 9 to 3 shō 5 gō, for which a total of 2 kan 110 monme 2 bu 5 rin of silver was delivered.
