○一残米千弐百拾四石四斗二の丸に有之に付四月十九日木下肥後守殿御家来江
蔵奉行立合帖を以引渡し申候米鮮く候事は従江戸内匠様御仕
合申来り候上足軽以下江妻子引料として遣候処城付に米も残置候様に
自江戸申来候に付夫より封印いたし置候なり

現代語訳
○一、残米一千二百十四石四斗が二の丸にあったので、四月十九日に木下肥後守殿の御家来に蔵奉行が立ち会いの上、帳面をもって引き渡しました。米が新鮮でないことについては、江戸から内匠様の御指示があり、足軽以下に妻子の引っ越し料として与えたところ、城に付属する米も残し置くようにと江戸から申し来たので、それより封印をしておいたものです。

英語訳
○1. Since there were 1,214 koku and 4 to of remaining rice in the second bailey (ninomaru), on the 19th day of the 4th month, it was handed over with ledger documentation to the retainers of Kinoshita Higo-no-Kami-dono in the presence of the storehouse magistrate. Regarding the rice not being fresh, instructions came from Edo from Takumi-sama, and after giving it to foot soldiers and below as relocation allowances for their wives and children, word came from Edo to also leave rice attached to the castle, so from that point it was sealed and stored.
