現代語訳
○一、三月十日、公家衆が明日十一日にご到来される。御跡乗（後続）の役人富森助右衛門、高田群兵衛の両人が今朝未明に宿所を出発し品川へ向かった。
○一、同日、役人等が段々と伝奏屋敷へ引越しした。同日より裏門の出入りを止め、表門より上下の者が出入りするようになった。
○一、同日午の刻、両伝奏衆より使者があり、即刻御対面があり御料理が出された。
○一、同日夕御膳が過ぎて未の後刻、伝奏屋敷へお引越しされた。
○一、三月十一日、少々御不快である由で、御保養のため寺井玄渓【三百石十人扶持】某が召し上げられた。この度伝奏の御役儀を仰せ付けられて以後、昼夜とも御精力を尽くされたため、御持病の御痞気（胸のつかえ）である。それ故に殿中での御分別もなく、御喧嘩に及ばれた由。

○ On March 10th, the court nobles were to arrive the following day, the 11th. The officials in charge of the rear escort, Tomimori Sukeuemon and Takada Gunbei, departed from their lodgings before dawn this morning and headed to Shinagawa.
○ On the same day, officials gradually moved to the Densō residence. From the same day, entry and exit through the back gate was stopped, and people of all ranks began using the front gate for entry and exit.
○ On the same day at the hour of the Horse, messengers came from both Densō, and there was an immediate audience with a formal meal served.
○ On the same day, after the evening meal had passed, at the latter part of the hour of the Sheep, there was a move to the Densō residence.
○ On March 11th, due to being somewhat indisposed, Terai Genkei [300 koku, stipend for 10 retainers] was summoned for medical care. Since being appointed to the role of Densō this time, he had exerted himself day and night, which aggravated his chronic condition of chest congestion. Due to this, he lost his composure in the palace and it led to the quarrel.
