月十二日赤穂出奔仕候而其以後京都江罷越戸田采女正様御留守居中
にも致対談無十方申分ん等仕候由伝承候此間赤穂御目付様御帰路
之節於加子川書付差上訴かましき申上候由赤穂出奔致し已来
段々不埒之仕形共御座候九郎兵衛自分之申あやまちを仕候而彼
是と徘徊仕候而は大学殿ため害をなし可申義可有之哉と
此段別而無心元奉存候得共只今内蔵助并家中之者共了簡に
及不申儀に御座候間各様迄御内意申事に御座候
一大野九郎兵衛立退申候前廉より家財赤穂之町人に預置申候
外々侍共諸道具も入交り預り置候も有之に付散乱之節之

月十二日赤穂出奔仕り候て、その以後京都へ罷り越し、戸田采女正様御留守居中にも対談致し、無法な申し分など仕り候由、伝承致し候。この間、赤穂御目付様御帰路の節、加古川において書付差し上げ、訴えがましき申し上げ候由。赤穂出奔致して以来、段々不埒の仕形ども御座候。九郎兵衛自分の申し過ちを仕り候て、彼是と徘徊仕り候ては、大学殿のため害をなし申すべき義これ有るべきやと、この段別して心元なく存じ奉り候得ども、只今内蔵助並びに家中の者ども了簡に及ばざる儀に御座候間、各様まで御内意申すことに御座候。

On the 12th day of the month, he fled from Akō, and thereafter went to Kyoto, where he even had conversations with Lord Toda Uneme-no-shō's deputy, making unreasonable arguments and such, as we have heard. Recently, when the Akō inspector was on his return journey, Kurōbei submitted a written petition at Kakogawa, making what seemed like complaints. Since his flight from Akō, there have been various instances of improper conduct. We are particularly concerned that if Kurōbei continues to wander about making his own mistaken claims, this might cause harm to Lord Daigaku. While we find this matter especially troubling, since it is beyond the understanding of Kuranosuke and the other retainers at present, we are conveying these private thoughts to you gentlemen.
