之処御逢候而昨日條右衛門江申談候通聞届二三日中に差図可申と
挨拶有之候此上十八日頃に内蔵助新左衛門殿江参候而断可申候前に申

段々仕形不届千万人外之事に候第一 公儀之御用をも不相勤
役柄と申平人と違欠落之義 上江対し不届者に而候得は急

ところ御逢いになり、昨日條右衛門へ申し談じた通り聞き届け、二三日中に差図申すべきとの挨拶がございました。この上十八日頃に内蔵助が新左衛門殿へ参り断り申すべく候。前に申すごとく、この義はこちらより内意を尋ねた義ではなく、あちらより申し出た九郎兵衛のことです。段々の仕形不届千万、人外の事に候。第一に公儀の御用をも相勤めず、役柄と申し平人と違い、欠落の義は上に対し不届者にて候得ば、急度御一門方よりも仰せ付けらるべき事、家財は闕所の義と新左衛門殿、庄大夫殿が噂されている由、條右衛門が内意申し聞かせ候。

Furthermore, around the 18th, Kuranosuke should go to Lord Shinzaemon to make his report. As mentioned before, this matter was not something we inquired about privately from our side, but rather something that came up from their side regarding Kurōbei. His various actions have been extremely improper and beyond what is acceptable for a person. First of all, he has not performed his official duties for the government, and unlike ordinary people, his abandonment of his post as someone in an official position constitutes improper conduct toward his superiors. Therefore, the family council should certainly take action against him, and his household property should be confiscated - this is what Lord Shinzaemon and Lord Shōdayū have been saying, according to what Jōemon privately reported.
