立企徒党申候就夫其地江罷出申候由御座候此者儀は無理非道

一筆啓上いたします。まずもって土佐守様がますます御機嫌よくお過ごしになられていることを、恐悦に存じます。先頃そちらへ参上いたしました際に御機嫌をうかがい申し上げました。なおいっそう御前でよろしく御執り成しをお頼み申し上げます。さて、原惣右衛門の件について、当城引き渡しの義に関して一分の申し分を立て、徒党を企て申しているとのことです。そのためそちらの地へ参ったという話がございます。この者の件は無理非道な者でございますので、そのようにご承知おき下さい。なお後日ご連絡いたします。恐惶謹言

I humbly write to you. First of all, I am delighted to hear that Lord Tosa-no-kami continues to be in excellent health and spirits. When I recently visited your area, I inquired about his well-being. I humbly request your continued favorable intercession before his lordship. Now, regarding the matter of Hara Sōzaemon, concerning the handover of this castle, he is asserting his own claims and plotting to form a faction. For this reason, it is said that he has gone to your region. This person is unreasonable and outrageous, so please be aware of this. I will contact you again later. With fear and respect.
