御願被 召上為替松平登之介本所之上屋敷被下之
鍛冶橋之内屋敷隣蜂須賀飛騨守殿御手寄之御老中方江
被得御内意候は若隣家及騒動候義も有之にはいかゝ可仕哉と御
尋候時上野介方騒動候共一切御構ひ有之間敷候自分屋敷之内
堅固に可被相守旨御返答有之候由
○一同年十二月十三日上野介御願之ことく御隠居御家督左兵衛殿江

内蔵助をはじめ皆々に申し聞かせた。なお、また様子を見て控えている。
一、巳年八月十九日、吉良左兵衛殿が召し出され、鍛冶橋内の上野介殿の屋敷が願いの通り召し上げられ、代わりに松平登之介の本所の上屋敷が下された。
鍛冶橋内の屋敷の隣家である蜂須賀飛騨守殿が、お手近の老中方にご内意を伺ったのは、もし隣家で騒動が起こることがあった場合はどのようにしたらよいかとお尋ねした時、上野介方で騒動があっても一切お構いになることはない、自分の屋敷内を堅固に守るべきであるとのご返答があったということである。
一、同年十二月十三日、上野介の願いの通り隠居し、家督は左兵衛殿に間違いなく仰せ付けられた。

Article 1: On the 19th day of the 8th month of the year of the Snake, Lord Kira Sahyōe was summoned, and Lord Kōzuke-no-suke's residence within Kajibashi was confiscated as requested, and in exchange he was granted Matsudaira Tōnosuke's main residence in Honjo.
Lord Hachisuka Hida-no-kami, whose residence was adjacent to the Kajibashi property, sought private counsel from a nearby rōjū (senior councilor), asking what should be done if a disturbance were to occur at the neighboring house. The response was that even if there were a disturbance at Kōzuke-no-suke's place, there would be no involvement whatsoever, and that he should firmly protect the interior of his own residence.
Article 1: On the 13th day of the 12th month of the same year, Kōzuke-no-suke retired as he had requested, and the family headship was definitely granted to Lord Sahyōe.
