いらっしゃいます。世間に三平の事が流布しないのは残念なことです。
○一味同心の内で病死した三人は、金右衛門（岡野金右衛門、通称親也）、矢頭長助、橋本平左衛門である。
この平左衛門は橋本茂左衛門の子である。平左衛門は大坂新地のしじみ川で遊女と情死し、元禄十五年七月十五日夜七時頃、淡路屋という茶屋で「はつ」という遊女を刺殺して自害した。当年十八歳であった。
○元禄十五年壬午年七月十八日、浅野大学殿の閉門が御免（解除）になったことに付き、安芸守様へ御月番の阿部豊後守殿正武（従四位下侍従十万石、居城は武州忍）より、御家老を差し越すようにと申し入れがあり、明石吉大夫が遣わされた。そこで豊後守殿が仰せ渡されたのは、
「浅野大学の閉門が御免になったので、安芸守殿は御妻子共々お引き取りになるべきである」
ということであった。

○Among the同心 (fellow conspirators), three died of illness: Kinemon (Okano Kinemon, also known as Shinya), Yagashira Chōsuke, and Hashimoto Heizaemon.
This Heizaemon was the son of Hashimoto Mozaemon. Heizaemon committed double suicide with a courtesan at Shijimi River in Osaka's pleasure quarter. On the night of the 15th day of the 7th month of Genroku 15, around seven o'clock, at a teahouse called Awajiya, he stabbed to death a courtesan named Hatsu and then took his own life. He was eighteen years old at the time.
○On the 18th day of the 7th month of Genroku 15 (1702), when Lord Asano Daigaku's house confinement was pardoned, the monthly duty magistrate Abe Bungo-no-kami-dono Masatake (Fourth Court Rank Lower Grade, Chamberlain, 100,000 koku, residing at Oshi Castle in Musashi Province) sent word that a senior retainer should be dispatched to Lord Aki-no-kami. Accordingly, Akashi Kichidayū was sent. Bungo-no-kami-dono then conveyed:
"Since Asano Daigaku's confinement has been pardoned, Lord Aki-no-kami should return with his wife and children."
