之橋際広場江打寄可有罷在事
一引退候刻途中江近所之屋敷方より人数を出し押留候節挨拶之事
一其実否を告候而私共何方江も隠去候事更々無之候無縁寺迄
引取候而 公儀御見分使を請意趣可申上と志候無御心元思召候は
寺迄御附可被成候壱人候而も退散之者無之と可申事
一屋敷より追而人出し追かけ候者有之候は惣人数鎮り踏留り
勝負可致候事
一勝負之内御検使有之は門を閉くゝりより壱人外江出候而御挨

現代語訳
橋際の広場に集まって控えていることです
一、引き退く時に途中で近所の屋敷方から人数を出して押し留められた際の挨拶のこと
一、その実情を告げて「私共はどこへも隠れ去ることは決してございません。無縁寺まで引き取って、公儀の御見分使をお受けして意趣を申し上げるつもりでございます。御心配をお掛けするとお思いになられましたら、寺まで御付き添いくださいませ。一人たりとも逃散する者はおりません」と申すことです
一、屋敷から追って人を出して追いかけてくる者がいる場合は、総人数で落ち着いて踏みとどまり、勝負をすることです
一、勝負の最中に御検使がいらっしゃった場合は、門の内から一人だけ外に出て御挨拶を申し上げることです。もっとも勝負が途中の場合は全て済んでから御挨拶をするという心得のことです

1. Regarding greetings when, during retreat, personnel from nearby estates come out and try to stop us along the way:
1. Explain the true situation and say: "We have absolutely no intention of hiding anywhere. We intend to withdraw to Muen-ji temple, receive the official inspector, and state our purpose. If you are concerned about this, please accompany us to the temple. Not a single person among us will flee."
1. If people from the estate pursue us afterward, all personnel should calmly stand firm and engage in battle.
1. If an official inspector arrives during battle, only one person should come out from inside the gate to offer greetings. However, if the battle is still ongoing, the protocol is to offer greetings only after everything is completed.
