申候事済候而又右之穴ゟ逃入申候由前々自身番ゟ見付候由三右衛門右之趣申
出相知れ申候孫兵衛宮内舎人申合候而額に疵を拵候由刀鑓疵とは不見髪刺
疵之様に有之に付無疵者之内へ入之由

小笠原忠五郎
足軽十二人 中間九十二人
孫兵衛・宮内は壁を切り破って逃げ、向かいの町家の傘屋三右衛門という者の家に隠れていたが、事が済んでから再びその穴から逃げ入ったという。以前から自身番が見つけていたという。三右衛門がこの趣旨を申し出たことで知れた。孫兵衛・宮内・舎人が申し合わせて額に傷を作ったという。刀・槍の傷とは見えず、髪刺し傷のようであったため、無傷者の内に入れたという。

Twelve foot soldiers Ninety-two servants
Magobei and Kunaï broke through a wall to escape and hid in the house of a townsman named Kasaya Sanzaemon, an umbrella maker, across the street. After the incident was over, they escaped again through the same hole. The guards had spotted them beforehand. This became known when Sanzaemon reported the matter. It is said that Magobei, Kunaï, and Toneri conspired together to inflict wounds on their foreheads. Since these did not appear to be sword or spear wounds but looked like hairpin scratches, they were included among the uninjured.
