その旨を申し越され、即刻泉岳寺江留守居三浦七郎兵衛・松浦作左衛門へ人数を添えて遣わされた。

右の人数を留守居が召し連れて芝泉岳寺へ参ったところ、七時過ぎに伯耆守殿・源五右衛門殿・五左衛門殿御連名の御手紙が隠岐守殿上屋敷へ到来した趣旨である。

Twenty tall hanging lanterns, twenty box hanging lanterns {{Note: This number of personnel is uncertain. Among them, twenty lanterns each certainly did not go to Sengakuji Temple - perhaps they went to Lord Sengoku's residence}}
The caretaker led this number of personnel to Shiba Sengakuji Temple, whereupon after seven o'clock, a joint letter from Lord Hoki-no-kami, Lord Gengoro-emon, and Lord Gozaemon arrived at Lord Oki-no-kami's upper residence.
