○一、奥様には十四日の夜中にご剃髪なされ、寿昌院様とお名前を改められた。

○一、田村右京大夫殿へお預けとなり、同晩にご切腹なされた様子を赤穂へ注進のため、早使両人、原惣右衛門《割書：三百石、物頭》、大石瀬左衛門《割書：馬廻り、百五十石》が十四日夜中に江戸を出発した。

○一、奥様は十四日夜中に式部少輔様のところへお引き取りになり、お道具等は深川の町人の屋敷をお借りになって遣わされたとのことである。内匠頭様のお道具はお伺いを立てられ、仰せ出される次第で片付ける筈で屋敷の蔵へ入れ置いた。その後お道具は構い無しとのことで、浅野美濃守殿のご支配でことが済んだのである。

To report this situation to Akō, two express messengers, Hara Sōemon <<interlinear note: 300 koku, arms commander>> and Ōishi Sezaemon <<interlinear note: mounted guard, 150 koku>> departed Edo during the night of the 14th.

○ First, the wife was taken into the care of Shikibu-shōyū-sama during the night of the 14th, and her belongings were sent to be stored at a townsman's residence in Fukagawa that was borrowed for this purpose. Regarding Takumi-no-kami-sama's belongings, an inquiry was made, and they were to be disposed of according to official orders, so they were placed in the mansion's storehouse. Later, it was determined that the belongings were of no concern, and the matter was settled under the supervision of Lord Asano Mino-no-kami.
