何も門打破大勢入申候其節火消之道具に相見へ申候私罷出候処疵

一 同じく小屋口で手負いした伊藤喜右衛門の口上 小屋におりましたところ、すぐに出ましたが小屋の前で手負いし、戦えなくなりました。
一 左兵衛役人で小屋口で手負いした石川彦右衛門の口上 右同断

一 裏門番人足軽小頭小河内六郎左衛門の口上 裏門番でおりましたところ、大勢がやって来て「屋敷の内で火事があるので門を開けるように」と申したので、門の間から見ましたところ、火消装束で来ておりましたが、屋敷の内に火事もないので門を開けませんでした。すると皆で門を打ち破り大勢が入ってきました。その時は火消しの道具に見えましたが、私が出ましたところ傷を負いました。

Then they all broke down the gate and a large group entered. At that time it appeared to be firefighting equipment, but when I went out, I was wounded.
