右之者共江被 仰渡左之通
父共儀主人之仇を報と申立四十六人致徒党吉良
上野介宅江押込飛道具抔持参上野介を討捕候始末
公儀不恐之段不届に付切腹申付候依之世忰共遠嶋申付

女子は御構無之候事
右書付町御奉行保田越前守殿ゟ秋元但馬守殿江被相渡稲葉

茅野猪之吉（和助嫡子 四歳）
右の者どもへ仰せ渡されること左の通り
父どもの儀、主人の仇を報ずると申し立て四十六人徒党を致し、吉良
上野介宅へ押し込み、飛道具など持参し上野介を討ち捕らえ候始末、
公儀を恐れざる段不届きにつき切腹申し付け候。これにより世忰ども遠島申し付く
ものなり。

Chino Inosuke (Wasuke's eldest son, age 4)
The following was proclaimed to the aforementioned persons:
Regarding the fathers' matter: claiming to avenge their lord's death, forty-six men formed a band and
broke into the residence of Kira Kōzuke-no-suke, bringing weapons and killing Kōzuke-no-suke.
This conduct showed no fear of the shogunate and was unpardonable, therefore they were ordered to commit seppuku.
Consequently, their sons are sentenced to remote island exile.
