御寐所をも御替候而御側に女中は不被差置侍計被召仕新参者は
無之由小人中間迄も米沢之者被召仕候本庄之御屋敷も二階作り
に而事急成時は二階より隣屋敷江飛移り候様に何角御用心候由尤
弾正殿よりも外聞忍ひ等を以様子御聞被成候得共浪人散々に罷在
に付曽而色をも不立候に付御用心も怠り勝に相聞へ候弾正殿より御
家来も多く御差添候由
一泉岳寺覚書之写
一今朝五時何事とは不知大勢手ことに鑓を持候而手負を
肩に懸け走込寺中夥敷騒動致候先門を差堅め申候処
現代語訳
お寝所もお替えになって、お側には女中は置かれず、侍ばかりをお召し使いになり、新参者はいないということで、小人や中間に至るまで米沢の者をお召し使いになりました。本庄の御屋敷も二階建てで、事が急になった時は二階から隣の屋敷へ飛び移れるように、何かと御用心されているということです。もっとも弾正殿からも外聞や密偵などを使って様子をお聞きになりましたが、浪人たちは散々な状態でおりますので、全く動きを見せないため、御用心も怠りがちに聞こえます。弾正殿からも御家来を多くお差し添えになったということです。

一、今朝五時頃、何事かは分からないが大勢が手に槍を持って、手負いを肩に担ぎ、寺中に走り込み、激しく騒動いたしました。まず門を固く閉めました。
