次第も無之候由申候此旨隠岐守殿御聴被成又御呼出し被成候
主税罷出私母は京極甲斐守殿御家来石束源五兵衛娘
に而御座候源五兵衛御在所に居住仕候内父内蔵助赤穂立
退候に付母私弟十一歳に相成を召連豊岡江立越源五兵衛方江
参候内蔵助存念有之に付妻子之義は今日より義絶仕
候間何分にも宜様に介抱頼存候存念之義は具に不申及
と申候源五兵衛得其意何とも可仕とて座を立申候内蔵助
勝手口之戸を立閉候而四人近寄母申候は義絶とは不聞女

次第もございません」と申しました。この旨を隠岐守殿がお聞きになり、また呼び出しになりました。
主税が出てまいりまして「私の母は京極甲斐守殿のご家来石束源五兵衛の娘でございます。源五兵衛の在所に住んでおりました内に、父内蔵助が赤穂を立ち退くことになり、母と私の弟（十一歳になります）を連れて豊岡へ立ち越し、源五兵衛の方へ参りました。内蔵助に思うところがございまして、妻子のことは今日より義絶いたします。何分にもよろしく面倒を見てくださるようお願い申し上げます。思うところのことは詳しくは申し上げません」と申しました。源五兵衛はその意を得て「何とかいたしましょう」と言って座を立ちました。内蔵助が勝手口の戸を立て閉めて、四人が近寄りました。母が申しますには「義絶とは聞きません。女といえども君父への志を遂げるには相応の働きをすべきです。是非一緒に、いかように
