一小野寺十内主税を同道にて京より江戸へ下るとて箱根にて
友に逢京の妻へ状遣しける其返事之内に 妻
筆の跡見るそ涙の時雨来て
いひ返すへき言の葉もなし
右の返し十内
限り有て帰らんと思ふ旅にたも
猶九重の恋しきものを

先駆けて道案内をしよう
一、小野寺十内が主税を同道して京都より江戸へ下る時、箱根にて
友に会い、京の妻へ手紙を遣わしたところ、その返事の中に 妻
筆の跡見るぞ涙の時雨来て
言い返すべき言葉もなし
右の返し十内
限りあって帰ろうと思う旅にだも
なお九重の恋しきものを
一、右の十内の妻は、元禄十六年未年七月十八日、京都本国寺において（自害）

Even on this journey with a set limit for my return
I still long for the ninefold palace
One: The aforementioned Jūnai's wife, on the 18th day of the 7th month of Genroku 16, year of the sheep, at Honkoku-ji temple in Kyoto (committed suicide)
