正月7日の夜8時頃、大坂難波から出火し、焼失した家数はおよそ250軒であった。

今度は堺において初めての大火災である。
正月7日夜8時頃より錦の町から出火し、綾の町、大道を経て、西は中浜まで、東は農人町まで焼失した。

今回の出火により大いに驚いた人々、また遠近の親類縁者の人々の心を鎮め安心させるため、この絵図を出版し、民衆の人々が安心できる手がかりになればと思い、見覧に供する。

10日夜5時頃、天満町から出火。

伏見大火の次第
正月3日夜4時頃、板橋から出火し、薩摩藩御屋敷辺り、そこから京橋北詰、浜通り西1丁ほど、御堂前、また東新町まで、それから御奉行所、それから文五橋まで焼失した。
▲焼失家数はおよそ4,582軒余りと言われる。
土蔵108ヶ所、寺院10ヶ寺、神社3ヶ所。
同4日より鳥羽辺りから二口堀横大路、淀城下が焼失。
同6日、八幡辺りが焼失。橋本も焼失。淀大橋・小橋が落橋。
また楠葉、枚方でも出火したという。
7日に火は鎮まった。

正月9日卯の刻（午前6時頃）、御城筋鐘御門の内で火の手が上がり、次に京橋御門の内、そこから玉造御門外の小家、そこから火の手が3つになった。
追手御門の内で火の手が2つになった。
10日辰の刻（午前8時頃）、塩硝蔵が焼失した。

On the night of the 7th day of the first month, at around 8 o'clock, a fire broke out from Namba in Osaka, with approximately 250 houses burned down.

Sakai Great Fire
This was the first great fire in Sakai.
Starting from around 8 o'clock on the night of the 7th day of the first month, fire broke out from Nishiki-no-machi, spreading through Aya-no-machi and the main road, burning westward to Nakahama and eastward to Nonin-machi.

To calm and reassure the people who were greatly alarmed by this fire, as well as relatives and acquaintances from far and near, this illustrated map is published in hopes that it might serve as a source of comfort for the common people and is provided for viewing.

On the night of the 3rd day of the first month at 7 o'clock, fire broke out near the Satsuma domain's warehouse residence in Dosa-bori, Osaka.
On the night of the 10th at 5 o'clock, fire broke out in Temma-machi.

Account of the Fushimi Great Fire
On the night of the 3rd day of the first month at 4 o'clock, fire broke out from Itabashi, spreading to the area around the Satsuma domain residence, then to Kyobashi north end, about one block west along Hama-dori, to Mido-mae, and also to Higashi-shinmachi, then to the magistrate's office, and finally to Bungo-bashi.
▲The number of houses burned is said to be approximately 4,582.
108 storehouses, 10 temples, and 3 shrines.
From the 4th day onward, the area from Toba through Futaguchi-bori Yokoji and Yodo castle town burned.
On the 6th day, the Yawata area burned, as did Hashimoto. The large and small bridges of Yodo collapsed.
Also, fires reportedly broke out in Kuzuha and Hirakata.
The fires were extinguished on the 7th day.

Osaka
On the 9th day of the first month at the hour of the Rabbit (around 6 AM), fire broke out within the Kashira Gate of the castle area, then within Kyobashi Gate, then spreading to small houses outside Tamatsukuri Gate, where the fire split into three directions.
Within Ote Gate, the fire split into two directions.
On the 10th day at the hour of the Dragon (around 8 AM), the saltpeter storehouse burned.

On the 6th day of the first month, fire broke out in Hirakata. The number of houses burned is said to be approximately 80-plus.
