現代語訳
一、同月、貞昭様の御徒支配の御取次、御使等を仕り、御出有りの砌には御刀番勤めにて御供仕るよう仰せ付けられた事
一、同年八月、名を五郎右衛門と相改めたい旨を願い任せられた事
一、同八年申年七月、三男左膳を嫡子仕りたい旨を願い任せられた事
一、寛政元年酉年三月、貞昭様初めての御目見が御首尾よく済まされたにつき、御祝儀として銀子一枚を下し置かれた事
一、同年四月、この度御乗出を遊ばされた処、一人にて出精よく相勤めたにつき、御褒美として貞昭様が御前において御召古の御上下を下し置かれた事
一、同二年戌年八月、これまで出精よく相勤め、諸費も相懸かりにつき、銀子五枚宛を年々下し置く旨を仰せ出された事
一、同三年亥年十二月、出精して相勤めたにつき、只今までの御役料の外に二十石の御役料を下し置き、百五十石高に成し下し置かれた事

One: In the same month, served as intermediary for Lord Sadaaki's foot soldier command and performed messenger duties, and was ordered to serve in the entourage as sword keeper when His Lordship went out.
One: In the eighth month of the same year, was granted the petition to change his name to Gorōemon.
One: In the seventh month of the eighth year, year of the monkey, was granted the petition to make his third son Sazen his heir.
One: In the third month of the first year of Kansei, year of the rooster, Lord Sadaaki's first formal audience was successfully completed, and in celebration, one silver piece was bestowed.
One: In the fourth month of the same year, when His Lordship went out riding, served diligently alone, and as a reward, Lord Sadaaki personally bestowed an old formal dress set (kamishimo) in his presence.
One: In the eighth month of the second year, year of the dog, for serving diligently up to this point with various expenses incurred, it was announced that five silver pieces would be bestowed annually.
One: In the twelfth month of the third year, year of the boar, for serving diligently, in addition to his current stipend, twenty koku was added as additional role stipend, making his total stipend 150 koku.
