去ル安政二卯年十月地震ニ而諸方ゟ出火江戸
御上屋敷一時ニ御類焼其節者何連も厚志ニ而
致献金且御他借等ニ而御繰合全御居間向
御長屋丈御普請取掛之処同三辰年八月
中大風雨ニ而上下御屋敷所々吹潰ニケ年打続
候而莫大之御入用其後同六未年十月中御
隠居《見せ消ち：様》御家督御入用多分之処猶又文久
元酉年九月中 和宮様御下向ニ付御警
衛御勤御入用不少候処可成丈下々御厭之
思召に而品々御差図も被為在御他借ニ而
相済候処猶又昨年中御参府後御役儀

去る安政二年卯年十月の地震により諸方より出火し、江戸御上屋敷が一時に御類焼いたしました。その節は何れも厚志により献金をいたし、かつ御他借等により御繰り合わせ、全て御居間向け御長屋だけ御普請に取り掛かったところ、同三年辰年八月中の大風雨により上下御屋敷の所々が吹き潰され、ケ年打ち続き莫大の御入用となりました。その後同六年未年十月中に御隠居・御家督の御入用が多分にあったところ、なお又文久元年酉年九月中に和宮様御下向につき御警衛御勤めの御入用が少なからずございました。可能な限り下々の御厭いとのお思し召しにより、品々御指図もこれあり、御他借により相済ませたところ、なお又昨年中の御参府後の御役儀

Official Document Regarding the Order for Special Government Funds
In the tenth month of Ansei 2 (1855), the year of the rabbit, an earthquake caused fires to break out in various places, and the Edo upper residence was completely burned down at once. At that time, everyone made donations out of goodwill, and through external borrowing and other financial arrangements, construction work was undertaken only on the residential quarters and retainer barracks. However, in the eighth month of Ansei 3 (1856), the year of the dragon, a great windstorm destroyed various parts of both the upper and lower residences, and the enormous expenses continued year after year. Later, in the tenth month of Ansei 6 (1859), the year of the sheep, there were considerable expenses for the lord's retirement and succession. Furthermore, in the ninth month of Bunkyū 1 (1861), the year of the rooster, there were substantial expenses for guard duty related to Princess Kazunomiya's journey to Edo.
