土常様剣術御相手被 仰付置候処一同

一延享三寅年八月親願之通御番代

一同年十月十八日弐拾三歳ニ而病死法名

一、享保十九年寅年九月、親の願いの通り初めての御目見を仰せ付けられたこと
一、寛保二年戌年八月、親の義により土常様の剣術御相手を仰せ付け置かれたところ、一同御相手仕るよう仰せ付けられた
ただし右の御相手に罷り出ることにより度々御酒を下し置かれたこと
一、延享三年寅年八月、親の願いの通り御番代を仰せ付けられたこと
一、同年十月十八日、二十三歳にて病死、法名天外知鋒信士、葬所は同上

1. In Enkyō 3rd year, year of the Tiger, 8th month, he was appointed as a guard substitute as requested by his father
1. On the 18th day of the 10th month of the same year, he died of illness at the age of twenty-three, posthumous Buddhist name Tengai Chihō Shinji, burial place same as above
