現代語訳
仰せ付けられ罷り登り、右御使の御口上の品々について江戸において土津様より御直々に仰せ付けられ相勤め、直ちに勤番を相勤めた。
一、同七未年（月不詳）御持筒頭を仰せ付けられ、前々の如く御徒支配を仕るべき旨仰せ出された。
一、同八申年六月、願いの上、御徒支配を御免になった。
一、同十戌年六月、御小姓頭御馬方支配を仰せ付けられ、百五十石御加増を下し置かれた。
一、同年十月、土津様が御参府遊ばされた節、前の御小姓頭御供番頭両人ずつ罷り登った処、伝兵衛一人を召し連れるべき由仰せ付けられ罷り登った。
一、延宝五巳年閏十二月、篠田七郎兵衛の二男市右衛門の儀、願いの通り養子を仰せ付けられ、苗字は異姓に候えども、伝兵衛と同姓の甥、又は伝兵衛の養父杢兵衛にも筋目のことに候間、右の通り仰せ付けられた旨仰せ出された。
一、同八申年五月、上野において厳有院様御法事の節、御名代として

寛文元丑年四月、一瀬伝兵衛、御暇を下され絹布二疋を下し置かれた。
寛文七未年九月、一瀬伝兵衛、御暇を下された時、時服二つ拝領仕った。

appointed and went up, regarding the various matters of the oral instructions for this messenger duty, he was directly appointed by Lord Haitsu at Edo and served accordingly, then immediately served guard duty.
One: Same 7th year (1667), year of the sheep (month unknown), appointed as chief of gunners (mochitsutsugashira), and ordered to continue overseeing foot soldiers as before.
One: Same 8th year (1668), year of the monkey, sixth month, upon his request, he was relieved of his foot soldier oversight duties.
One: Same 10th year (1670), year of the dog, sixth month, appointed as head page and horse guard supervisor, and granted an increase of 150 koku in stipend.
One: Same year, tenth month, when Lord Haitsu made his formal visit to the shogun (sanpu), while the previous head pages and escort leaders went up two at a time, Denbei was ordered to accompany them alone.
One: 5th year of Enpō (1677), year of the snake, intercalary twelfth month, regarding篠田七郎兵衛's second son Ichiemon, adoption was granted as requested. Although the family name would be different, since he is a nephew of the same surname as Denbei, or there are family connections to Denbei's adoptive father Mokuemon, it was ordered to proceed as requested.
