幷川島作右衛門狸武勇の事
扨爰に津田山に住（すむ）鹿子といふ狸あり
しが今日六右衛門九左衛門等の悪計を密に
立聞してつく〳〵思ひけるは禁長
こそ仁義忠孝を守り仮初にも人を
悩（なや）まさず是こそ大将の器量（きりやう）有物なり
然るを今宵 歎（だま）【欺ヵ】し打にせんとの事
誠に危き所也我何卒此事禁長
に内通して一命を救（すく）ふべしと
立帰り女房小鹿子にも此事物語り
鹿と姿を化して山を下り禁長が
晒【栖ヵ】家へ至り案内しければ鷹が出向ひ
夜更て何用ありて来り給ふや殊に
其姿こそ不審なりと尋ける鹿子の

さんため夜中急ぎ参りし也禁長

並びに川島作右衛門狸武勇の事
さてここに津田山に住む鹿子という狸がいたが、今日六右衛門九左衛門等の悪計を密かに立ち聞きして、つくづく思ったことには「禁長こそ仁義忠孝を守り、仮にも人を悩ませず、これこそ大将の器量ある者である。それなのに今宵騙し討ちにしようとのこと、誠に危ういところである。私は何とかこの事を禁長に内通して一命を救おう」と
