さすれば智謀のさのみあるまじ
今味方大勢なるを幸ひ日開野へ
押寄せ敵の不意をうたば必定勝

此義決してよろしからまじと
云ふ皆〳〵驚き是を見れば是なん

高坊の曰く軍は諸卒の心一 致（ち）せざれば
勝利なし然るに某つく〳〵当
家の諸軍を見るに皆〳〵禁長

わん事薄氷踏よりも危（あよ）ふし
敵は主戦しかも地利に委し其上
禁長智勇属族おふしまた

便りを得て官位を受けようと来た者である。そうであれば智謀がそれほどあるはずがない。今、味方が大勢であることを幸いに、日開野へ押し寄せて敵の不意を打てば、必ず勝利となるであろう。皆の者、いかがであろうか」と申した。その時、末座より年老いた狸が進み出て言うには「この案は決して良くないであろう」と言う。皆々驚いてこれを見れば、これはなんと千切山の高坊主である。六右衛門がその理由を問う。
