天のいたゞ き（か）ざる敵なれは直（たゞ）に津田へ
押寄せ敵作右衛門を討取度若し又
運つたなく渠（かれ）等の為に討るゝとも

出陣（しゆつじん）の御用意あつて然るべしと
勇気を含（ふく）み勧めける時に松の木お山
座を進みて申けるは女の身として
差出かましき事ながら夫大将たる
人は万 死（し）を遁（のが）れて一生を得一 旦（たん）の恥（ちぢ）
辱をしのんで大 功（こう）を立るこそ良（れう）
将（せう）の常也とうけたまわり候然るに
津田方には六右衛門を始め数多（あまた）の属族
凡五百余疋に及ぶと聞味方わづか
弐百疋計りの小勢をして彼地へ
押寄ん事（こと）甚だ危（あよ）ふし只ゆる〳〵
時の至るをまち味方を招き其上に
て敵を当地へおびき出し戦わば勝
利ならんか返す〳〵も此度は出 陣（じん）は宜敷（よろし）
現代語訳
天の許さざる敵なれば、直ちに津田へ押し寄せ、敵の作右衛門を討ち取りたい。もし又運悪く彼らのために討たれるとも、父への言い訳としてこの上なし。片時も早く出陣の御用意あってしかるべし」と勇気を込めて勧めた時に、松の木とお山が座を進めて申すには「女の身として差し出がましいことながら、そもそも大将たる人は万死を逃れて一生を得、一旦の恥辱を忍んで大功を立てるこそ良将の常なりと承っております。
然るに津田方には六右衛門をはじめ数多の属族、およそ五百余匹に及ぶと聞く。味方はわずか二百匹ばかりの小勢をもって彼の地へ押し寄せることは甚だ危うし。ただゆるゆる時の至るを待ち、味方を招き、その上にて敵を当地へおびき出して戦えば勝利となろうか。返す返すもこの度は出陣は宜しく
英語訳
"This enemy cannot be forgiven by Heaven, so we should immediately advance on Tsuda and kill the enemy Sakuzaemon. Even if we should meet with misfortune and be killed by them, there would be no better way to justify ourselves to father. We should prepare for battle as quickly as possible." When they urged this with great courage, Matsu no ki and Oyama moved forward in their seats and said: "Though it may be presumptuous for us as women to speak, we have heard that a great general should escape ten thousand deaths to preserve one life, endure temporary shame and humiliation to achieve great merit—this is the way of a good general.
However, we hear that the Tsuda side has Rokuzaemon and many of his clan, numbering some five hundred or more. For our small force of merely two hundred to advance on their territory would be extremely dangerous. We should wait patiently for the right time, gather more allies, and then lure the enemy to our territory to fight—that way we might achieve victory. Again and again, this time going to battle would not be wise
