半紙の一文凧が言うには：
「私は値段こそ安いものの、一文の凧に貼られて、下りを食うより凧を買えとはしゃいだ子供に買われ、町中引きずり回されて、ぼろぼろになりました。最後の果てが子供の喧嘩の種となり、先の子が憎さに面当てに、お福面が私を『これがあるか』

英語訳
The one-mon kite made of hanshi paper says:
"Though my price was cheap, I was pasted onto a one-mon kite and bought by a child who excitedly said 'buy a kite rather than eating sweets.' I was dragged around the entire town and became completely tattered. In the end, I became the cause of a children's fight, and the previous child, out of spite and to get back at someone, scribbled on me with a brush: 'Otafuku mask, is this here?'
