The cavalry detachment departing from "Schukeborg" [Schœnbourg], finding the route narrow, dangerous, and difficult, aimed to advance as far as "Gunstett" [Gunstett] by around three-thirty. ○ On the morning of the 7th, this cavalry unit pursued the French forces in the direction of "Ingweiler" [Ingwiller] and "Bronstweiler" [Pfaffenhoffen area]. ○ Generally, all the troops that had participated in this battle immediately set up their field camps during the battle itself. The cavalry encamped at "Gunstett," and the "Baden" detachment was garrisoned at "Sohlbourg" [Soultz-sous-Forêts].
