下右ニ付而ハ笹原源之助相勤候趣を以
御稽古懸りをも可被 仰付候得共久々
不快ニ而是迄押而相勤罷在候由ニ候
処事馴候者ニ付永く御用相立候様
被 思召候得者当分ハ保養専ニ致し
昼以前も罷出尤御用之振合ニ寄り
候而ハ終日も罷出相勤候様御用人を以
被 仰出候事
一同三辰年三月久々不快罷在候由之
処此度御供勤番ニ付押而罷登候由
被為及 御聴依而ハ一両月も致保
養快気次第御跡ゟ罷登候様御用人
を以被 仰出候段被申聞候事

現代語訳
下されたことについては、笹原源之助が相勤めている趣旨により、御稽古係も仰せ付けられるはずであったが、長らく体調が優れず、これまで無理をして勤めてきたとのことである。しかし、事情に慣れた者であるので、長く御用に立つようにとの思し召しであれば、当分の間は保養を専らとし、昼以前にも出仕するが、もっとも御用の都合によっては終日でも出仕して相勤めるよう、御用人を通して仰せ出された事
一、同三辰年三月 長らく体調不良でいたところ、この度御供勤番につき無理をして上ることについて御聞きに及ばれたので、一、二ヶ月も保養をして快気次第に御跡から上るよう、御用人を通して仰せ出された段を申し聞かされた事
一、同年五月二十二日 六十一歳で病死 法名興宗院本忠全隆居士 葬所詳雲山善龍寺

Regarding the above grant, based on Sasahara Gen'nosuke's service, he should have been appointed to the martial arts instruction position as well, but he had been unwell for a long time and had been forcing himself to serve until now. However, since he was a person familiar with the duties, and with the lord's consideration that he should serve for a long time, it was proclaimed through the retainer that for the time being he should focus on recuperation and attend in the morning, but depending on official duties, he could also attend and serve all day.
Item 1: Same 3rd year of the Dragon, 3rd month (1820) - As he had been unwell for a long time, when it came to the lord's attention that he was forcing himself to go up to Edo for attendant guard duty this time, it was proclaimed through the retainer that he should recuperate for one or two months and go up to follow the lord after his recovery.
