現代語訳

【右丁】
ナキザミ　胡麻半粒の大きさである。虫眼鏡で写したものは左図の通りである。
　紙窓にとまってザクザクと鳴く。極めて微かな音で聞き分けがたい。

【左丁】
棗猫　天牛の一種で小さなもの
　丹渓心法附餘に「棗猫児は飛虫で青灰色、棗子ほどの大きさ、頭上に両角があり、棗の上にいる」とある。

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　胡麻一粒の大きさである。そのため虫眼鏡を

Naki-zami (Crying cicada): About half the size of a sesame seed. What was drawn using a magnifying glass is as shown in the left diagram.
　It perches on paper windows and makes a "zaku-zaku" sound. The sound is extremely faint and difficult to distinguish.

Natsume-neko (Jujube cat): A type of longhorn beetle, a small one
　In the Tankei Shinpō Fuzuyo it states: "The natsume-neko-ji is a flying insect, blue-gray in color, about the size of a jujube fruit, with two horns on its head, found on jujube trees."
