月次御登城之儀
昌明様ゟ御願可被成哉
昌尚様ゟ御願可被成哉之旨五兵衛殿ゟ御老中土屋相模守《割書：政｜直》殿迄
被相伺候処御國表ゟ被指出候而者延引ニ相成候間
昌尚様ゟ御願被成可然旨御指圖之趣五兵衛殿被申聞之
但右ニ付御叙位之御禮相濟以後御願可被成候之旨
五兵衛殿迄御留守居江相伺候処其後相模守殿ゟ申來

村上三大夫罷出候処四品以上之御方之儀者被達
上聞候儀ニ付早速御願被成可然旨之由用人金子岡右衛門

一 同月廿七日御用番秋元但馬守《割書：喬｜朝》殿江徳山五兵衛《割書：重｜年》殿を以左之通
御願書被指出之
私儀官位被 仰出有難奉存候此以後月次之

御面会 御勤めより土屋相模守政直殿へ 御勤め（御同道徳山五兵衛殿）
一、十二月二十二日、徳山五兵衛重年殿より申し来たり、荻野孫右衛門政封が罷り出たところ
月次御登城の儀
昌明様より御願いをなされるべきでしょうか
昌尚様より御願いをなされるべきでしょうかの旨を、五兵衛殿より御老中土屋相模守政直殿まで
相伺ったところ、御国表より指し出されては延引となってしまうので
昌尚様より御願いをなされるのが然るべき旨の御指図の趣を、五兵衛殿が申し聞かせた
ただし右に付き、御叙位の御礼が済んだ後に御願いをなされるべき旨を
五兵衛殿まで御留守居へ相伺ったところ、その後相模守殿より申し来たり

村上三大夫が罷り出たところ、四品以上の御方の儀は
上聞に達せられる儀に付き、早速御願いをなされるのが然るべき旨を、用人金子岡右衛門
を以て申し聞かせた
一、同月二十七日、御用番秋元但馬守喬朝殿へ徳山五兵衛重年殿を以て左の通り
御願書を指し出された
私儀、官位を仰せ出され有難く存じ奉ります。この以後、月次の

1. 12th month, 22nd day - A message came from Tokuyama Gohei Shigenari-dono that Ogino Magoemon Masafū appeared, regarding
The matter of monthly castle attendance:
Should a petition be made by Masaaki-sama?
Or should a petition be made by Masanao-sama? When Gohei-dono inquired about this to Rōjū Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami Masanao-dono,
[the response was that] if submitted from the domain, it would cause delays, so
it would be appropriate for Masanao-sama to make the petition. Gohei-dono conveyed this instruction.
However, regarding the above, when inquiring to the castle caretaker through Gohei-dono that the petition should be made after the ceremony of gratitude for court rank appointment was completed, Sagami-no-kami-dono later sent word that

Murakami Sandayū appeared and [reported that] regarding matters concerning those of Fourth Court Rank and above,
since these are brought to the Shogun's attention, it would be appropriate to make the petition promptly. This was conveyed through yōnin Kaneko Okaemon.
1. Same month, 27th day - Through Tokuyama Gohei Shigenari-dono, the following petition was submitted to goyōban Akimoto Tajima-no-kami Takatomo-dono:
I am deeply grateful that court rank has been bestowed upon me. Hereafter, I
humbly request to be allowed to pay monthly respects. The above.
