四品の御例にて宣旨を申し聞かされたため、有馬筑後守殿、
松平土佐守殿に承り合わせたところ、御太刀金馬代小袖五着ずつを
献上され、その節、御両所の御父はご在国のため御使者
のみを派遣された趣のため、その段を申し達したところ、今日右の通りご指
図があった
一 十二月二十七日、御用番稲葉丹後守《正通》殿より左の通り御切紙が来た

However, regarding the above presentations, when Lord Yoshishina submitted an inquiry document
to Lord Sagami-no-kami on the 12th, he was instructed through a retainer to consult
precedents among peers of the same rank, but since he was a beya-zumi (heir residing in quarters),

there was no precedent for appointment to Junior Assistant Minister (jijū), so when this was reported,
he was instructed according to the precedent for fourth court rank with imperial edict. When inquiries were made
with Lord Arima Chikugo-no-kami and Lord Matsudaira Tosa-no-kami, they had each presented ceremonial swords, gold horse substitute money, and five court robes.
At that time, both of their fathers were in their domains, so only messengers were sent.
When this was reported, today's instructions as above were given.
One 12th month, 27th day: The following official note came from Lord Inaba Tango-no-kami {{Masanao}}, the duty elder:
