1. On the 18th day of the same month, messenger Takada Shinbei, who had arrived in Edo on the 16th, went today to Senior Councilor Lord Inaba Tango-no-kami {{Masatsune}} who was on duty and submitted a letter. On that occasion, he was instructed to appear at the castle tomorrow, the 19th.
1. On the 19th day of the same month, messenger Takada Shinbei went to the castle and presented the tribute gifts. On that occasion, Senior Councilor Lord Inaba Tango-no-kami {{Masatsune}} who was on duty took his seat in the Hinoki-no-ma, and the gift list was presented to Master of Ceremonies Lord Honda Danjō-shōhitsu {{Tadaharu}}. Afterward, when he went to the Western Citadel, Senior Councilor Lord Ogasawara Sado-no-kami {{Nagashige}} took his seat in the Hinoki-no-ma, and the gift list was presented to Master of Ceremonies Lord Hori Sakyō-no-suke {{Naotoshi}}.
