1. On the 25th day of the ninth month, he went out to Yoshie for falconry {{returned on the last day of the same month}}.

1. On the 27th day of the same month, he observed archery by his retainers at the main citadel.
However, although he frequently observes martial arts, these are not recorded.

1. On the 12th day of the tenth month, he went out to Aizu for sightseeing {{returned on the 16th day of the same month}}.

When Lord Yoshishina went to the castle,
regarding the marriage arrangement between Lord Yoshishina and Princess Ume, daughter of Minister of the Center Lord Hinonishi, as requested,

　　　　　Lord Yoshishina had submitted a petition through Lord Tokuyama Gohei to Senior Councilor Tsuchiya Sagami-no-kami who was on duty.

Due to the Shōgun's illness, a letter was sent to Edo to inquire about his health.
